This mural was inspired by my migration story. It celebrates my mother and all mothers who have given everything up in search for a better life for their families.
This mural was inspired by the community surveys of the Santa Ana Artist(a) Coalition, located at the Artists Village, Fourth Element Gallery, Santa Ana, CA
The Coalition is a grassroots collaborative effort which came together in June of 2013 specifically for the purpose of creating community-based, community-driven mural arts projects.
